What are Wall Stickers?
Wall Stickers, also known as Vinyl adhesives, are a new and dynamic alternative to classic Wallpaper and stencil decorations. They are actual adhesives, specifically designed to be glued to the wall and create the effect of a painted decoration.
 
How is a Wallsticker made?
The sticker is an actual precut adhesive. Before its application, it is inserted between two protective sheets, making its application very easy. Further, the printed design is covered with a transparent pvc film making it resilient and safe even after its application.
 
How are the Stickers organised on the website?
The main strength of Leostickers is its "family" sub-categorisation. Each adhesive is in fact part of a specific theme which can then be recreated in your room by purchasing different products belonging to the same family (The Jungle, In the Sky, School of Magic... to name a few).
To have a general look at the different products, you can click on the various category buttons (Nature, Cuddles, Play, Adventure, Magic), which reveal the different adhesives relating to the general idea of that word.
It is also possible to search for individual adhesives using the search engine, or alternatively for a more thorough search, you can view all of the adhesives according to their family.
Finally, in the designated section you can get to know the artists of the various stickers! Leo is in fact very keen to give exposure to these young and talented artists, making room for each of their diverse graphic styles!
 
What is the difference between a Wallsticker and Stencils?
Stickers are adhesives which are directly applied to the wall (or other smooth surface). Stencils are instead perforated templates which are temporarily held against the wall in order to reproduce decorations using a brush or sponge.
 
 

Application

Is it easy to apply the stickers? Can I do it by myself?
Applying the Stickers is truly child's play. Follow the instructions which will be posted to you together with your order, or alternatively consult the explanatory section of this website.
The very useful LeoSpatula will be sent to you as a gift!
 
Does the wall on which I want to glue the Stickers need to have any particular characteristics?
The walls should be perfectly dry, clean and smooth.
If a wrinkled or particularly porous surface is used, or a surface which is not perfectly smooth, it is possible that the adhesive will not entirely attach, and the final result will be less integrated with the wall. For example, against the light you will be able to see any possible irregularities of the wall under the adhesive. It is possible to glue the stickers onto wallpaper, but you will not be able to detach them without damaging the wallpaper.
 
Can I glue the stickers only onto walls?
Absolutely not! The adhesives can be glued onto any surface which is smooth, clean and dry, for example a door, window, mirror or wardrobe cupboard!
 
After I glued the adhesive, I noticed small bubbles of air. How can I remove them?
Even though it is very easy to apply the adhesives, small bubbles can occasionally remain trapped under the adhesive at the time of application. Using either the LeoSpatula or a soft cloth, try and push the air bubbles from the centre of each image towards the edges.
In the event that the air bubbles persist, you can gently pierce them with a pin and release the air by pushing firmly.
 
Is it possible to remove the adhesive from the wall?
It is possible, although each adhesive has a very strong adherence in order to avoid unattractive impairments and to guarantee resistance and durability over time. We therefore advise you to carefully select where you apply the stickers, also as the Stickers cannot be reused after their removal. Also, depending on the type of wall and paint, the underlying colour may be damaged by the removal of the stickers, and some paint residue may come off. Or rather, if the stickers are applied and removed from varnished surfaces or wallpaper, the varnish or paper may be ruined.
For other support surfaces such as glass, it is advisable to heat the surface of the adhesive with a hairdryer in order to relax the adhesion of the glue and facilitate removal.
 
Can the adhesives also be applied in a room subject to humidity?
It is possible to apply the Stickers in a humid environment (bathroom or kitchen). Obviously at the time of application, high levels of humidity due to vapour for example, should not be present. Rather it is preferable to apply the Stickers at a time when the air is dry.
The adhesives may however be damaged if they come into direct contact with water. It is therefore not advisable to glue them to surfaces exposed to liquids, for example in the shower.

Can I modify the dimensions of the adhesives I wish to purchase?
Of course! In the product card which you can access by clicking on each adhesive, it is possible to select the size of your adhesive (S,M,L,XL) and to view the relative price and exact height and width measurements. To make your choice even easier, each size is simulated with photos of the adhesive next to people!
 
How can I choose the adhesive most suitable to my room?
In the product card, you can find a simulation of a room decorated with the selected adhesive family, in order to obtain a comprehensive idea of the environment created by the entire family. (Size XL families only are shown in these photos). Further, a colour panel is available in order that you can select the colour most similar to your wall, and view the adhesive on that colour. Try it to believe it!
 
Can I request a personalised project?
This function is not available at the moment. In the future however, personalised adhesives will most certainly be available with your name, or preferred text. Subscribe to NewsLeo, and you will be updated on new website features and products!
 
 

Purchase

How can I place my order?
It's simple. Search the website, and when you find the adhesive you're interested in, click on the design! You will be directed to the Product Card page, where you will find all the details of your selected adhesive (size and measurements, prices, artist, family...), and where you will be able to view the adhesive against the colour of your choice, thereby simulating your own wall and seeing the final effect.
Once you have selected the size and quantity, you can add it to your cart.
At this point you will receive confirmation of the addition of this product to your cart. You can also add other elements of the same size and family into your cart.
Following this stage, you will see your cart and the total cost of your order (excluding dispatch fees). In order to proceed, you will need to be authenticated by your username and password which were inserted at registration. You will then proceed to a secure credit card payment.
The purchase procedure is also illustrated in detail in the relevant section!
 
What is the estimated delivery time once I have placed my order?
After confirmation of payment, you will receive the products directly to your home within maximum 15 working days. There may be a longer delivery time in certain periods of the year, however you will be notified each time.
 
If I order more than one adhesive, will I need to pay more than one dispatch fee?
Of course not! The adhesives will all be inserted into the same parcel (solid and cylindrical, so it is impossible for the stickers to be bent or damaged!). Dispatch fees will therefore be charged only once for each standard order.

Are the adhesives available exclusively online, or is it possible to find them in shops?
At present our adhesives are available exclusively via our website. As such, you are guaranteed the absence of intermediary costs and you will consequently benefit from lower prices!

Right of withdrawal

The product I have received is damaged. What do I need to do?
If upon delivery you discover imperfections relating to damage caused in transit or material defects, let us know via email (assistenza@leostickers.com), with photos of the imperfections attached.
Each claim will be individually handled.
